In 1992 Terrence Stevens was convicted of being in possession of a small amount of cocaine. He was sentenced under the Rockefeller-era Drug Laws to fifteen years to life and served much of this time in New York’s notorious maximum-security prison, Green Haven. Not only was Terrence not guilty, he was also almost completely paralyzed by the Muscular Dystrophy he had developed as a child.
